     A warm welcome from Zambia!

On my way to Zambia, my watch broke.  I wear my watch all the time and immediately thought about how difficult it would be to not have a watch the whole trip.  I tried to fix the watch, of course, but to no avail which left me with two choices, purchase a ridiculously expensive watch at Heathrow or just go without.  As I pondered my situation, I realized that this was likely God’s way of telling me to stop focusing on the time and just be present during my stay in Africa.  It is this same peace and presence that I wish for our whole team!

I am excited to report that all of our team members arrived safely from America on Saturday and settled into our living space. Sanderson and Lweendo are wonderful hosts!  Yesterday, we started our adventure with church and then a team building experience at Victoria Falls.  We went out on our first evangelism experience this morning!  Everyone is doing well and excited for the ministry!
