This morning we spent the morning in a Bible study with widows from the town. They are reading their way through the entire Bible.

We read and discussed the book of 1 Samuel chapters 1-3 with the ladies. It was amazing to hear the faith of these ladies. They have an incredibly positive view on their lives and it's such a powerful example of how to love through trials.

The commute for each of them to spend time together is not easy. They live all over the city of Livingstone. To raise money for their travels they make purses. They brought a stack of the purses to the meeting and we purchased all of them. It felt so good to be able to have a small impact on their daily lives.
